Everyone involved in transporting children can play a part in keeping children safe in the car. This 2-3 hour on-demand workshop will guide you through the basics of child passenger safety, including:

  • Is this a certification course?

    No, this workshop does not provide certification but participants will receive a record of completion via email. This workshop provides an overview of car seat and booster seat basics, but does not certify a person to provide the services of a Child Passenger Safety Technician.

  • How is this different from Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) training?

    This 2-3 hour workshop covers child passenger safety basics, and is completed at a participant's own pace. It provides general knowledge and information. CPST training involves extensive in-class and hands-on support, and is taught over 3 days.

  • How long does this workshop take to complete?

    Most participants will complete this workshop in 2-3 hours. It does not need to be completed all at once. Participants go at their own pace, and can save their work and come back to it later.
